About Me

I am a first-generation Puerto Rican from Dorchester, Massachusetts. Where I grew up is one of Boston's most diverse neighborhoods. It also holds one of the highest premature mortality and pre-term birth rates when compared to Boston, a city known for its healthcare innovation - this fact serves as a catalyst to my mission.

After graduating from Northeastern University, I worked in reproductive health bilingual marketing and later served as a public relations Account Executive for private healthcare systems and federal government health contractors.

In the midst by legislation against liberties to health care, I remembered the health outcomes of communities like my own. I was inspired to pursue a Masters of Public Health at Vanderbilt University. Public health training has taught me how to be "trans-disciplinary" with a focus on inclusive centered design thinking, social impact, organizational development, and leadership.

My personal mission is to take these skills and collaborate with others to improve the maternal and family wellness of under-recognized communities.
